Description

Family caregiver training and education focuses on building caregiver skills, dealing with stress and managing the caregiver role.


Free training is available to caregivers of people with dementia and intellectual or developmental disabilities. The course "Serving People with I/DD and Dementia" contains short training modules that are available anytime online.


In them you will learn more about:
* A basic overview of types of dementia
* Early detection of types of dementia
* State and national resources
* Tips from national experts and local professionals
