Trellis Pension and Retirement Rights (formerly known as The Upper Midwest Pension Rights Project (UMPRP)) provides free legal counseling to assist retirees and pension plan participants who have questions or problems with their pension claims.


The Project provides advocacy in cases where a pension is being denied.


The Upper Midwest Pension Rights Project (UMPRP) is the agency designated to provide pension help for Minnesotans as funded by the U.S. Administration on Aging Pension Counseling and Information Program.


Eligibility

The project serves anyone regardless of age.


Serves people who either currently live in - or are searching for a pension from employment when they worked in - Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska.
